In-range is not a trajectory

On why a value moving in the wrong direction matters more than the same value sitting inside the reference interval.

Reference ranges describe populations. They do not describe you. A marker can drift inside its range for a decade before crossing it — and the drift, not the crossing, is the data.

The Skeptic Series exists to name where the literature is loud and where it is quiet. On this point, the literature is loud: trajectory-grade monitoring catches what cross-sectional medicine cannot. The 90-day re-measurement loop is the operational consequence of taking that literature seriously.
